Most people are surprised by how painless acupuncture is. You may feel a slight tingling, warmth, achiness or heaviness at the needle sites, but it’s generally relaxing. Many clients find the process soothing and even fall asleep during sessions!


What to Expect
Q: What should I expect during my first session?
Your first session begins with an intake to discuss your health history, goals, and concerns. You’ll then relax on a comfortable treatment table while we apply ultra-thin needles to specific points on your body. You relax for about 20-30 minutes on the table, then the needles are removed. The session lasts about 50 minutes, including the intake.
